Did well last Friday/Saturday fishing in 30 fow about 4 miles out. Had to sort through small saugers but caught plenty of fish. The walleye to sauger ratio wasn’t the best. Fish seemed to want rattle baits like buckshot or similar JR’s rattle spoon. Pink and red best colors as usual. Don’t be afraid to pound bottom a lot to get their attention.

3 of us did well out deep as well on Friday. Spoons and dead sticks all caught fish.

We did ok, not great. 8 of us in 2 day shacks out of wigwam over the weekend. We were 5 miles past Pine Island.

No where close to limits. I did manage a PB walleye at 29″ though!

We didn’t have a choice since we had to rebook last minute since Winnie wasn’t fishable… fun weekend but disappointed fishing wise (aside from my trophy)

    I did manage a PB <strong class=”ido-tag-strong”>walleye at 29″ though!

That’s a heck of a consolation though. Congrats!

fished Wednesday thru Friday very slow for LOW. Mostly small fish. can get out with anything plenty of ice. rattle baits in pink and reds are the ticket. bite was better before the last storm.

LOW was very slow for us. We fished two full days off Pine Island in about 32ft. Kept maybe 10 walleyes/suagers for 4 of us (two women who didn’t fish much). Biggest eye was 20″ I did lose a big one half way up.

Overall it was VERY SLOW! I heard the same from a few different groups. Good luck!

Was out of Zippel Fri and Sat last week. Setup in 28’ off Sauger St East.

Clearly we weren’t deep enough…or shallow enough for a morning/evening bite. Good action but small. Struggle to hit double digit lengths.

3 keeper (14”) saugers and a pout came home.

It was a zoo up there after the URL mess. Someone did a fly over and Zippel staff estimateD 4-5k houses out there.

Our dead sticks were slow. Chartreuse, red and orange worked best. Rattles at times. If they’d chase and not commit we’d drop a flutter spoon down and usually get them.

Good luck! Plenty of the thousands caught a good fish or two. Done let my report drag ya down.
