Lake Nipigon McCollum's Reflection Lake Resort

    Has anyone stayed at McCollum’s Resort or fished the bay they are on?

    This spring I downsized my boat to a 1650 tiller, so I want to find a resort on Nipigon that has “sheltered” water nearby so I can fish if the wind is to strong to be on the main lake. I’m also looking at staying in Nipigon/Red Rock and fishing the Nipigon River.

    Hi Ryan –

    Very convenient lodge on Orient Bay. The couple there is a on the older side, but the husband (forgot his name) is very knowledgeable about the lake.

    It’s not 5 star – but none of us are in these parts. I think youll find their cabins clean and comfortable.

    You’ll have to trailer to the River – give yourself at least an hour depending on where you launch. The road there is in rough shape – and the beavers aren’t helping.
