Well we have been making a few trips on Lake Mason at Briggsville, wis. which is close to Portage and the Wisconsin Dells area. We have been targeting the gills in about 5 to 6 feet of water. We drilled sets of two holes for our shacks and got the vexilar set up and flipped the shacks down and started jigging diamond jigs tipped with mousies and wax worms for the afternoon bite. Using the flasher was the key for getting your jig in front of the fish. The fish would come and go through out the day.
