Was just by there this past weekend on my way up to Bemidji to chase down some crappies. I have fished Lake George before a few times yrs back and I stopped into the access just to take a look….there are 2 roads plowed out; one to the left and one to the right…there is one lonesome house out in the middle of the 25′ basin where we caught crappies but no road to it…the few other houses with plowed roads must be setup on breaks for walleyes or shallow enough to spear..but to be honest both roads appear to skirt the 25′ basin so you could drive out on either road and walk not far to 25′. The crappies were plentiful but had to grind it out to get enough decent sized eaters in the 10-11″ range….early morning or late day before sunset.
