Lake Fishing

Hey guys, my group is heading up to fish the river the last 4 days of the season. I’m thinking we might be able to get out on the lake a by then (if the wind is out of the south). If we can fish the lake can we keep our 4 walleyes? The way the rule is written it says catch and release in the river and 4 mile bay. We would have to go back into the river to trailer our boat so not sure how that would work. Any thoughts?

Yes, you can fish the lake and keep fish and drive back to the boat ramp on the river legally.

We were told by a CO if we caught our limit on the lake. We shouldn’t stop and fish the river on the way in. Stay on plane and go directly to the landing
