Fished it many times. Peat bog lake west of Sandstone. Panfish lake and like many bog lakes I suspect it is relatively infertile so size was often the issue. Some decent crappie from time to time if you can get on them and if they weren’t trawled out.

Never caught a walleye on this lake and strongly suspect there aren’t many if any at all.

    Bring your bug spray.

A co-worker has a cabin on the SW corner. I’ve fished it twice in the winter. Decent pike bite, but not much of size. I’ve heard of a lights-out panfish bite, but again, not much of size. I guess what I’ve taken away from that lake, it has a lot of fish, but most are small.

Panfished it once in winter (mainly sunfish). Seemed like a lake that required sorting to get a meal.
