We will be on these lakes July 27th through the 31st.
Never been there before and never fished in late July to early August.

sure fire is trolling shad raps at night on Cass, many long bars to fish, you will see the lights of the boats. Very clear water makes it difficult in the day
and fish the river upstream towards Wolf Lake I think it’s called… trolling surface lures

Are you thinking of Big Lake? Wolf Lake that I see is at least 50 miles away to the SW.

Like others mentioned, very clear lake, shadows from the boat will move fish away, a good approach is to locate fish, stay away from them and make long casts. Dont be afraid to stay in 10-12′ of water.
