Is there Lag/Latency on LVS34 (Livescope Plus)?

Can anyone who has had experience with the LVS34 tell me if the latency/lag has improved with the LVS34? I’m currently running a PS22 and there is noticeable lag, especially when jigging for walleye. Is it unbearable? No. But compared to a flasher, which has zero lag, it is noticeable.

I’m not sure what latency was like prior to the LVS34 and I don’t use one while ice fishing but I use a LVS34 with an ECHOMAP Ultra UHD 106sv pointed backwards while trolling and I can see a walleye grab a crankbait on the screen before I can detect it on a rod.

Lag is not an issue with the lvs32 or 34. Get the settings dialed in and only use noise rejection when you need to. A lot of lag that people mention has to do with filters that are turned on when not needed. If youve been running a ps22 go ahead and make the jump to the LVS34. I have the LVS32 and for me it’s not a big enough upgrade to jump to the 34. If you want the fastest processing unit go with the ultra series or GPSMAP.

Yep turn your interference settings down. With the PS-22 that is the biggest factor (along with many other units and transducers)

The higher the setting, the more time the computer takes to interpret data to throw away the interference.

Even on an old school fl-8 se or 18, the interference rejection settings have a big impact on lag (though it has more to do with ping rates on those units than a computer processing data)
