I was gifted a pair of Iceman boots from my dad. He loved them but he calls the “sock suckers”. The always pull socks down. When I wear them I have the same issue. If I walk 500 yards my socks get pulled down below the ankle. Fit is good.. Anyone know of a solution? There near perfect…20 years old bit snowseal and not a lot of use has them near perfect. Probably a terrible question but I enjoy hearing ideas. Thanks!

I roll the top of my socks down over the top of the outside of the boots, then pull the pant legs over that. Works perfectly.

When I dress for ice fishing, I put on my sock liners first. Then my thermal bottoms over top of the sock liners. Then I put my wool socks over my thermal bottoms.

This layering helps but it Isn’t perfect.

Yeah, my Lacrosse Extreme PFT does that too.

Buy yourself some Soccer socks, the ones that can pull over everything and goes above your knees and stays put.

There’s also those elastic cuff bands that typical military BDU’s uses and that helps a lot to prevent both the BDU’s from rising up and socks from slipping down to a point. May have to go to the army surplus store.

I loved my icemann boots before I switched to mucks because I don’t like tying my boots. I always tucked my pant leg in to my socks with those boots and it helped.

I never had that problem. Do you tie your boots all the way to the top?
I only tie mine to the ankle so the boot can flex at the ankle better.

I typically do. Rethinking that now. Appreciate all the suggestions. Thank you.
