I had my family out and fished mainly from Lake City down to Wabasha this last weekend and found fishing to be pretty decent for the most part. After having some not so good white bass fishing over the last couple of years we got into some pretty good runs on the lake. The white bass are why I bring my family here because there is no funner fishing for kids (or adults) in my book. It’s fast and furious and they fight like crazy.
We also got into some decent pan fish and catfish as well. Another highlight was my son Max hollering from the front of the boat about something and when I looked over the edge, he’s dragging in 2 largemouth on the same rattle trap pictured below. A fun trip and some great family memories! We didn’t do too much walleye fishing but picked up a few shorts here and there.

Pontoon fishing with the family…life doesn’t get much better than that! Great pics.

Well, I got caught in between fishing boats and had to make do. They’re definitely not that easy to control and I hated not having a trolling motor but otherwise it worked and super comfortable!

    toast toast

That’s phenomenal. Been trying to get my teenager out any way possible and always seemed to slip through this year.
