That’s something I didn’t think I’d ever say, But I have to say they did a excellent job of running the CWD test sites ( At least the one we used in Nimrod ) We were not looking forward to having to stop and do this. We figured it would be really slow and unorganized. Could not have been more wrong. The site had 5 stations setup and well organized. On our 3 stops we were in and out in less than 10 minutes each time. The young workers who were doing most of the work were really courteous and efficient. It was nice to see young students involved in this ( Mostly young woman by the way ) Hopefully they get enough data to get the answers they are looking for and what we all hope to find out.

I agree Kudos to the MN DNR! We used the one on the East Gull Lake public access. I was dreading it, thinking it was going to be an arduous process and backed up. We were the only ones there and the whole process took less than 10 minutes and that was with some BS’ing thrown in!
The guys at our station were older gentlemen but super friendly and efficient. Gave my boys a lot of compliments for their nice buck and thanked them for hunting.

Kind of Funny How your Station was mostly Older Men and ours was almost all younger females. Goes to show they have a good mix.

I thought it was interesting you had young gals so I thought I should share about our gruffy old men! Lol
I thanked them for trying to maintain a healthy deer herd for years to come. They said call your legislators. I said “I’d rather they just let you do your job and leave politics out of it”. To that they had a great laugh.
