Korn Hole Game Plans

    I am looking for a set of plans and an idea on what materials may cost to make a set of the Korn hole game. We are looking to do a few for our sons when they graduate high school and want to do them for the specific colleges they going to attend in the fall. I have found stickers and bags so mainly looking at materials I guess. I am by no means a craftsman carpenter but have all the tools needed can do most basic work. There doesn’t appear to be a whole lot to these. Ideas and feedback appreciated. Thanks

    I see lots of plans. I’m thinking of making a set also.

    Edge glued pine makes a really nice looking board. A little spendy but sure to turn a lot of heads. Have been offered a lot for mine while tailgating. I put bartop epoxy on mine to give it a nice finish and to protect the stickers. Bought my Edge glued pine from menards. 2’x3′

    One piece of advice is to shy away from gloss paint on well-sanded boards. I ended up having to repaint a set once because the bags wouldn’t stick. They’d literally land and then slowly slide off the bottom of the boards. Flat paint did the trick. )

    The FW and I played in a league once. There was one d-bag in the league that literally videoed the matches and blogged about the games. Yeah, he was good, but this was a parks and rec league. roll
