No mention of the Tiger Woods wreck. Shattered ankle, both legs fractured, one a compound, extracted thru the windshield.
That’s a bad day.

I think everybody understands “speculating” on what happened doesn’t matter.
I think everybody understands “speculating” on what happened doesn’t matter.
Every speculation channel on tv had it on all day and night. I almost thought the world was ending with the way this tragedy happened
And Tiger thought his back was really giving him problems! This will most likely end his career in golf. Can you imagine the amount of rehab he will be looking at.
I thought the amount of media attention was ridiculous but at least it got all that other crap off the screen for a day..

In other news,,,, Kim Kardashian is getting divorced. Again.

sad deal for sure, and hope he is okay.
i wasn’t particularly bothered by the intense media coverage “all day and night.” but then again, i only turned the TV on yesterday to stream an episode of Sportmans Journal. the monster can’t bother you if you don’t feed it…
Glad to hear he’s going to be ok but his golf career is probably done but who knows with him. I’m sure he will still try and make a comeback again.
More than anything, the sport of golf and the PGA want Tiger Woods back. Golf was never more popular or lucrative as when Tiger was on top of his game. He fueled an explosion in interest in the sport that will never be matched, both on the revenue side and in terms of numbers of people playing.
It’s been all downhill since Woods’ decline. The PGA would love to have him back, but that’s looking like a long grind now if it ever happens at all.

Looking at pictures of the vehicle it didnt appear that it rolled at all to me. The moonroof was still intact.

He had been playing some good golf as well. I’m still a fan. With his prior back issues and now this, it will be interesting.

Tiger definitely moved the needle.
as it turns out, so does a pandemic.
July 2020 set an all-time record for monthly golf equipment sales, beating the previous record set in July 2007. (Tiger won his first Master’s in 1997 and was at his peak until 2008, things fell apart in 2009.) after losing some early season time when courses were closed, total rounds played in the summer months were up 20% last year compared to the same months in 2019.
of course it will be interesting to see how many used golf sets, campers, and boats are for sale in 3 years…
He can rehab and then hit the senior tour and dominate again. No way he never plays professionally again… he can beat people on one leg that are on tour.

As much as people get upset about how much $ professional athletes make. I hate it far worse how much $ no talent POS people like the Kardashian family and other so called social influencers make. Look at some of these #’s:
Eleonora Pons was number 27 on Hopper’s 2019 Instagram Rich List. The Venezuelan-born influencer has 39 million followers, and gets paid $144,000 per post. She currently has a net worth of $3 million. The 23-year-old internet celebrity first came into prominence on Vine, and branched out to creating comedy sketches on YouTube after Vine shut down in 2016.
Huda Kattan was number 31 on the Instagram Rich List, thanks to her thriving beauty empire. Kattan has over 41 million followers, and gets a whopping $91,300 per post. She has a net worth of $45 million.
Kattan’s journey began in 2010, when she launched a WordPress blog called Huda Beauty. Three short years later she launched her self-named beauty line, with the first product being eyelashes sold through Sephora. She only continued to grow, and now has a beauty empire worth millions.

Sommer Ray
Sommer Ray is number 33 on the list, and makes a crisp $86,600 per post. The influencer has over 24 million Instagram followers, and has a net worth of $3 million. The 23 year old’s niche is fitness, and some of her most popular posts are her workout videos. In these quick clips she usually dons cute workout clothes, which are either sponsored or are from her own collection. (For example, she created signature Butt Lift Shorts with push-up booty technology.)
Chiara Ferragni
Chiara Ferragni is number 43 on the list, and makes $58,300 per post. The Italian-born fashion influencer is currently New York-based, and came into prominence with her blog The Blonde Salad. She worked with name brands like Guess where she was a model and ambassador, and has collaborated with luxury labels like Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Tommy Hilfiger.
She was also the first blogger to appear on the cover of Vogue, and was featured on the Spanish edition in 2015. She has nearly 18.5 million Instagram followers and has a net worth of $10.5 million.
…no talent POS people…Kattan has over 41 million followers.
If there were 41 million people who wanted to watch me do my job, I’d probably get paid more too.

So you hate capitalism??? I’m happy for anyone that makes bank, even if I don’t understand how or why they make that much
I try not to be guilty of success-shaming.
Plus if that Sommer Ray created some “booty-lifting” technology I thank her for making the world a better place.

For a family that got its 5 minutes of fame surrounding a high profile murder case and a mother who sold a sex tape of her own daughter it’s shame on Americans for supporting this kind of immorality. My two cents
t
Same with me other than the Kardashians. I do not follow, do not financially support and don’t really care about any of them. I don’t claim moral superiority, just extreme disinterest. On the other hand, Charlie Berens deserves every nickel he makes from advertising from me watching his YouTube videos.

I’ve never heard of any of them. Maybe thats a good thing.Pull up google, click images. Type “Sommer Ray”. Just dont let Mrs. Dutchy see or you’ll be sleeping on the couch for the unforeseeable future
So you are saying something different then what I see on the Ranger, Lund, Skeeter IDO sites will show up? Say it ain’t so!!

That’s because that part of the internet doesn’t make up to IFalls.
As far as Tiger goes, I’d be surprised if they didn’t pull him into doing some commentary, at least for the Masters.
