handful of finger nail polish colors and some white crank baits and let the kids get creative. put some clear finger nail polish on for the final coat. It was a competition to see which kids bait would catch a fish. Caught a handful of small northerns so far. 3 pack of berkley cranks at scheels are $8 and one of them is white. Dad gets the other two stock cranks!

There ya go. And it’s what might turn into something a whole lot larger.

I started with a fly tying kit when I was about 13. Bought it by mail order from Herters with lawn mowing money. Tackle building has been a passion ever since and I’m 74.

This is a great idea, I’m going to do this with the 8 year old daughter. I know she would love the idea.

Made spinning rigs w my daughter, ended up catching some fish w em too. Took out their bead bracelet box and we started at it, may have been some hearts and initials in ours but they don’t care lol.

I have used the leftover nail polish from 3 daughters to paint jigheads too. I always wished that one of them would have chartreuse, but no luck!
