    The stage was set.

3 cutbait rods to my one Sudden Impact Fiber bait loaded rod.
Yes, three to one…but I felt confident.

We fished from just after 5 to 9 pm for channels, then spent an hour looking for a flat that never showed up.

It wasn’t very long into our second location and I was fighting the first channel of the night. Yes, I was on top of the world proving to another cut bait only angler that stink baits have their place in a channel catters boat.

Fishing our last channel cat location with Andy telling me some story that is always forgotten about when the big rods are bending toward the water. 12 pounds blew away my little guppy. (figured I would say that before Andy had a chance to fill you in)

The photo is still on my camera, I’ll have to post it later today.

I hope the weather is starting to turn because it was very comfortable fishing until 10 on Monday. I’m really tired of either wearing a Sno Suit or just staying in because of the weather.

Thanks for the outing Sir! Next time it’s my boat big guy.

Ahh time slips by… Here’s Andy’s 12# channel with a bet winning smile on Andy’s mug.

You couldn’t have stepped in my trap any better Brian.

First time stink bait has been in my boat… And you win the award for smallest catfish ever in my boat… It was smaller than the suckers you brought. Hilarious dude.

    it was 12.5#

    Always fun fishing with you
