Kicker motor question

I’ve got a 2020 Alumacraft Trophy and was curious if a tiller handled kicker motor would inhibit the jump seats from being used when the motor is trimmed up for travel. Does anyone have any experience with this? I’ve heard people say the older ones it was a problem…so not sure on the newer models. There is quite the lead time for one with controls in my area…

I have a 2018 and it is not a issue. I opted for the connecting rod to the big motor for steering and the. Run a troll master for speed

What brand of kicker? The new Yamaha that I was looking at the tiller handle folds 180 degrees pointed backwards.

I’m looking at the Suzuki 9.9…I’m torn between a tiller or having a second set of controls

I have an 07 185 tournament pro sport with 9.9 suzuki kicker (2018) I don’t have jump seats but all the way up mine will hit my livewell cover when straight up. That being said I do not need to have mine trimmed all the way up to clear the water when running. Hope this helps. P.S. love the suzuki best kicker i have ever run. Both my motors are suzuki.
