Keeping a wheelhouse at Nitti's Hunters Point?

I’m planning on ice fishing Mile Lacs pretty exclusively again this winter. I’m looking at keeping my house at Nitti’s Hunters Point. Does anyone have an opinion on Nitti’s for wheelhouses? What’s the difference between Full Service and No Service?

I like the fact that Nitti’s has a restaurant and bar. I think they’ll also light the furnace and punch holes so the kid and I can start fishing as soon as we get there on a Friday night after I pick her up from school. It’s probably not a service I’d use too often, but the option would make it more likely we’d fish Friday nights when life gets busy. The place I went out of last year wouldn’t touch a wheelhouse.

Send me a PM if you don’t want to make a critical opinion public.

Thanks and bring on the COLD

@Bigfife I think has a skid house out of Hunters. He might be able to tell you something. See if he responds?

I have a skid house there, but I think I can answer your wheelhouse question. Full service would include a tow out and in and driveway maintained to the house. No service would give you a season long road pass to tow your own house on and off. No spot plowed out or driveway plowed. They have room for you to park the house on shore.

I’ve had a house there for about 10 years. Great group of people that run the resort, food is great, and weekend events.

I saw Appledorns is also offering wheelhouse packages.
