Keel guard – aluminum boat

I have an old 12′ aluminum that I put in my pickup box and launch in small bodies of water by hand. Was thinking of putting a keel guard on it as it is getting a little dinged up from the dragging, etc. I see gator guards makes one, any other options you’d recommend?

I put Gator Guard on my fiberglass boat. It works well.
