Just seeing if anyone is running them on an aluminum boat? I fish the river a lot and there’s not always a dock to tie onto. The sand and gravel are doing a number on my keel. Suggestions, pictures, brands?

    Thanks

Hamby’s makes a good product. I’ve not seen one on an aluminum boat myself but I would imagine you could have one installed on just about any hull.

They also have a lighter duty version that you can install yourself if you want to go the DIY route.

Let us know how it works on the aluminum hull. I’ve had one on all my Skeeters and wouldn’t run a fiberglass boat without one given how often I nose up on shore.
