    I got this ice fish bug bad hopefully we’ll have safe ice on the Glenn next weekend and we’ll be icing giant white slabs.

    Kansas DNR is saying good ice at the glen leaving in the morning. Hopefully pics and good updates to come

    Welcome aboard and keep us posted. Would you mind showing a fellow IDO’er or two the area if he was to make his way down there? I need to make a road trip this year and with gas prices this low it’s looking like the time to do it.

    Kansas is a very cool place to ice fish, lots of options with the big crappies as well as stripped bass. You are also close to some fantastic bluegill fishing in Nebraska. Good luck on Glenn this weekend!

    Mudshark I live in Stillwell 30 minutes south of Kansas City.
    icenutz I can point you to a few brush piles but the channel breaks or inside turns will be the best here in two the 3 weeks as the piles will be slim pickings.Just let me know if you head this way I’m always ready. As far as gills go I have 14 irrigation ponds here around the house full of nice gills .

    Welcome to IDO. I am in Nebraska and cant wait ti get down to Kirwin. My dad Lives in P Burg and is checking ice tomorrow so hopefully we will be on ice soon to slay some big crappies!!!!!
