Thirdly, Kab has never had a good consistant winter bite of big fish. Generally the bite is sporadic and in specific locations, such as early ice down by Ash River. Lastly, the huge pike (20+ lb.) the lake was once known for are all but gone and the gator hunters have gone elsewhere. (Rainy )
