Pike

Any dedicated Pike guys here who fish Namakin? I am looking to get into Namakin farther this year and wonder if anybody has any tips or bays to look at.

Not a reel deticate pike guy but if they are big I will fish them!! A few years ago on my only trip to Namakin we stumbled onto a suspended bite for both eyes and pike, I ended up getting a PB 40 incher on that trip as well as a few other nicer pike. We were there later June and tried fishing weeds and rocks of the pike from main lake areas to way back in some of the bays, but had no luck others than some smaller snakes and smallies. All of our fish were cuaght trolling over 50 to 80 fow from the surface to about 20 ft down, they wee always in direct relation to the ciscos or tullies what ever they are out there, small silver minnows that would rise by the 100s to the surface in the evening. Good luck I have always wanted to get back but Rainy is just to close to nami and to temping!!
