    Was wondering how the park was affected by the shutdown?

    Horrible –

    The lawn needs mowing, the ramp needs TLC, the parking lot is filthy, the docks have some leaves on them, the buildings need paint, the brochures need re-stocking and the wildlife is hungry.

    Hopefully, they can get back on their feet after this horrific shutdown.

    I was wondering that too. I’m guessing the VC ramps are all closed and the private ramps are getting a lot of use. I bet the lake is getting less attention and the fishing is awesome. Wish I was there.

    The clowns settled last night so the parks are open again. People were driving around the barricades anyway to launch. Go up there, everything is fine.
