Can anyone share information regarding how well the k drill performs in thick ice say 3 or 4 feet thick like we typical get up north ?. Can a Milwaukee drill or any other for that matter drill dozen or more holes on a single battery ? A local fishing store in Inl. Falls cant sell them locally and have no experience with them .

I would think on a 6” drill you should be able to get close to 12 holes in 36” of ice on a single fully charged battery. Last weekend I got close to 40 holes in 12” of ice. The math say it should be close

Depends on the drill and battery. I can get 80 holes in 10 inches of ice with my Milwaukee fuel with an xc5.0 battery on a mora 7 inch hand auger. I have never used a k drill but I would think it would cut better than an old mora.
