Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with the K-Drill attached to a powerhead? I have a 10″ Strikemaster Lazer that is about 6-7 years old and runs well but I have not had any luck with the blades staying sharp. I would be interested in attaching the K-Drill to it. What are everyones thoughts? Thanks!

i got a 1/2″ makita (high torque cordless) drill and a NILSUSA CORDLESS CONVERTIBLE AUGER from fleet farm, the kdrill is very similar but made out of plastic and lighter weight, slightly less efficient at drilling than the NILS

i used it all last winter it worked great.. honestly the best ice fishing investment you can make is going electric for ice augers.

I had a Eskimo mako that i put the K Drill on it works but very slow. The revolutions are to slow hence why it works on a drill better just me experience.

I have messed with the k-drill on a strikemaster power head. Too slow. It is a few pounds lighter as a complete set up but it takes twice as long to drill holes.

You need the higher rpms from a drill for the k-drill.
