Just yearning for some beans….

Oohh! This is for making your own vanilla, right?

Right o kiddo. Got the beans ordered at about 1 this morning. Couldn’t sleep so was up on the computer. Figured why not get it done. I ordered extra beans this time, a couple for a jug of bourbon. 8 whole beans will go into the Everclear since its a full liter.

This will be the third bottle working right now plus I have a half a bottle we’re tapping as needed too.

The one we’re using is 4 years old, another is two years old and the last is about 18 months. I did two jugs at one time 4 years ago, hence the skipped year.

The vanilla is also great when a little is added to a good bourbon, either straight up or on ice.
