Just shy of 30"

Thought I would drop a little bit of a positive vibe in the Mille Lacs forum. We were up for the 4th and the wife rigged up this toad on the mud. First fish on a Lindy rig. Needless to say we were pretty excited. I have fished there 9 years and I’ve never gotten one over 29″. Just figures. She wanted to get it mounted and put it right next to her 155″ buck she killed first 15 minutes of first time out deer hunting. Lucky girl.

My fish is in her left hand. The true double had us in a mad scramble. My fish was 24″. Sure looks small next to hers!

Congrats to your wife on a great fish! She has the magic touch the first time out. Has she played the lottery yet?

With that kind of a magic touch for trophies she probably had you wrapped around her finger after just one date right?! LOL

Awesome fish! I can’t wait for Fall trolling as I think their full bellies the past two summers are going to lead to some pigs being caught.

Was thinking the same thing. She sure is making that nice fish on the right look small.
