Leaving on the scoot Wednesday morning for a few days. So what happens tonight? I get some random piece on metal in my back tire. I’ll be lucky to get my bike in tomorrow. flame

That looks like a hook you can get at a hardware store to hang strings of lights.

That sucks DT. But at least you caught it before hitting the road, flats on 2 wheels is no good. I forget where abouts your from but have a friend that works on bikes out his garage in the north metro, could see if he could make something work.

Both of my “riders” have mags vs spokes so if in a pinch I will plug punctures. I carry a small 12v compressor & plug kit on the FLTRU.
Pull the wheel yourself if you are hinkey about plugs & I can’t imagine a local indy wouldn’t fit you in.

    One more thing.
I have a guy in Oak Grove that mounts and balances my tires for me. He has totally stopped pulling wheels & only works on dropped off wheels and customer supplied tires. He spin balances but I spend the extra $$$ and install a product called Ride-On.
It is both a balancing agent and a sealant. It seems to give me more tire life and if I get a small puncture it seals. Most importantly it migrates to the tire casing and does not goop up the wheel.

Thanks all. I’m in Alexandria. Road it a mile this morning on a flat and got it into my local dealership. waytogo
