Now I’m officially excited for the 2016/17 ice fishing season.
    Dec 15 – 18 at Adrians.
It’s my goal to get 31lifer out to 12 mile this year, even if I have to swim. toast

Dec. 14 – 18 for us. We do mid Dec. every year. Lately we have to sweat out the ice thickness up to the last minute. Last year was the first time we actually had to cancel & reschedule.Good luck!

Just booked mine as well, early-January, Ballard’s. Really looking forward to it after having to bail on last year.

We try to get up there each season at early ice, last year we didn’t make it out until the week after New Years and even then they wouldn’t let Pick ups out.
I heard this season is suppose to extremely cold. Crossin my fingers.
    Good luck fishing guys!

It’s hard to resist going out as far as you can, but don’t forget about shallower. Once that 2 o’clock bite is over out deep, run up into about 15′ and you’ll get that classic evening bite and even into the dark a little bit. I’m tellin’ ya, they are in there. Find harder bottom.

There is no way you will catch a fish on that lake after dark! rotflol
It’s funny how most people say you might as well get off the lake by nightfall because the fishing dies down. BS! Eelpout guy and I have caught fish at all times of the night hopping from house to house. Oh, and there are jumbo perch outside of Pine Island as well.
