The one that needs to leave is the field goal kicker. That close and miss so wide. Almost looked intentional. He’s been an issue all season with missed kicks.

What about the rest of the offense? They didn’t score at all. Hard to blame just the kicker for a loss like that.

Wasn’t the kicker today bud… the HOLDER was responsible for that miss…
I kicked some in HS.. laces away is a head game…. it doesn’t affect the kick at 27 yards. headcase got to him if he cries laces….

This ain’t no Jim Carrey movie. Its the NFL, if you can’t kick a ball laces up, down, sideways from that chipshot in that spot find yourself a new team. He had issues from the beginning of this season and every time he’d go to kick I’d be nervous.
No one should be surprised, the Vikes do this all the time. Purple kool-aid or not, you should be used to this after 50 years

Well said, my first year of vikes was 69, so I’ve seen it all too. Blair Walsh took full responsibility which is more than 28 ever will do, my hat is off to mr. Walsh, true professional.
sticker, no team wins the SB every year… some teams have never “been” to a superbowl, 31 teams will not win the SB this year, we had a shot, 12 teams get the shot, only 1 wins. Try not to be so negative…. no way to go thru life.
I didn’t watch the game but did endure it over the radio with Paul Allen. You could hear the enthusiasm leaking out of him like air from a balloon. Apparently the Vikings could muster no offense again today. Seems to be boom or bust with them guys. Is everybody sure Bridgewater is the answer or just better then the Vikings trotted out the past 6 years?
Oh well, pitchers & catchers report in 6 weeks.

Big G, I feel for you, you are a true dedicated fan. I lost all hope 30 years ago and went with the Pack. Very little disappointment since. I know you hate the Pack, but sooner or later a guy has to realize the facts of life. How many times can you be let down?
Speaking of the Pack they are about to wrap things up in this game.
Typical day for vikes. They lose a heartbreaker, and GB wins. You would think we’d get used to it by now, but that’s the way the ball bounces.
Congrats to the Pack, I can respect a good game, but flip teams…. NEVER ! 2017 is the Vikings year !!! (man it still hurts)

Big G you got big stones and serious dedication! I respect the heck out of that
Good win for the pack today. They got things rolling after 2nd quarter started.
Im a huge Packer fan here, but I was rooting for the Vikes. A beat down on the sea chickens would have been great. As they went down the field on the last drive, I was like this is their game. Watched that 27 yard field goal get kicked, all I could do is think WOW, that trophy case is so empty. Good luck in 17 Vikes!

Was it the fumble that set up the lost or was it the blown coverage on a broken play that eventually lead to a touchdown or was it an overly conservative play on the last series that lead to the miss field goal? Speaking of conservative play, of the 4 times the Vikes were in scoring range was there any attempt at the endzone?
It was a heartbreaker that’s for sure but I’m not going to place blame on one particular play. All in all 3 mistakes not a bad game, actually a well faught game that just did not go the Vikes way in the end.
They were who we though they were – heart breakers !!!. I told my wife before that missed FG that something was going to go wrong. Said either a bad snap, blocked kick, of a simple miss. It’s the Viking way. By now you would think we would be use to it.
I’m just glad it didn’t happen in the NFC championship game.. The most encouraging thing that came out of this is our defense and what they have the potential to do next year. I focus on that.
I’m also glad it didn’t happen in a bigger game. In 1999(?) and 2010 they kind of blew NFC Championship games they should’ve won. Yesterday as the game played out we all felt they should’ve won, but going in no one really thought they’d win. They lost to a good team who could make it to the Super Bowl again. It still stings but the fact that they were even in that position is pretty awesome.
It gets old hearing ” They played a good game against a good team ” ” They should be good next year ” Face it they blew it. It was a game they should have won.
they kind of blew NFC Championship games they should’ve won.
“kind of” blew it?
they completely and utterly blew those games. just like yesterday.
Caught this on Facebook………
There is no doubt in my mind that Adrian Peterson could not possibly have been guilty of smacking his kid with a stick 25 to 30 times. That would have meant he had to hold the stick in his hand for all 30 licks and we all know he can’t hold on to anything that long
sticker, curious. Would you have went to Carolina for the game ? Your welcome

Absolutely, it’s all about the event for me, not so much about the chances of winning. I wouldn’t have high hopes against either team to be honest
I just meant leaving -10’f for 88′ and sunny Zona (suppose to be 43′ & rainy in Carolina)
