Congrats to two guys I call friends! Nice job for a couple of Mille Lacs Lake sharp sticks.

IDO regular and no stranger to LOTW Dan “Fife” Pfeifer and Dad Rod take down 3rd place and Father – Son team of the year!

Can’t wait to hear the story. Must have been tough fishing the last couple days with the cold front blowing through.

    Congrats guys — Absolutely awesome.

A big congrats to Dan and Rod Pfeifer as well. These guys had the hammer down all season. As Jon Mentioned they took home the Lindy Team of the year, The father son team, and Third at the Championships. Awesome Season guys! None of these accomplishments are easy tasks.

The end of the season was frustrating for us. We found ourselves in 4th after the first day of the 2 day on Mille Lacs. We found ourselves in second after the first day of the Championships. In both cases we choked on day two. LOL
Frustrating to say the least but the beat goes on.

I guess that is fishing ) No one got hurt, nothing got broke that can’t be fixed, and we had fun. It also keeps us motivated for next year.

Enjoy that Skeeter Bob and Josh

    Another season in the books….

That Skeeter hat looks good on both of them. Congrats on a great tournament and a 11.4lb kicker to boot. Bobber has a history of pulling in some big fish from LOTW. Congrats again

Thanks for the comments! it was a blast winning the championship with Josh. He did a great job running the boat in some very difficult conditions. catching that 11.40# was something special!!! I think….we had alittle help from above!

    Congrats again guys!

Thanks for the congratulations as well. To win team of the year against anglers I’ve looked up to for years is an amazing feeling. Fishing with my Dad makes it even better.

Going into the tournament I never would have guessed we could break the top 10 in the Championship without a big fish. We were in 4th after day 1 and I knew we had a smaller bag on day 2 so I figured maybe we could hold on to a top 10. When the dust settled I was shocked to find out we took 3rd and our friends won. What a great finish.

Awesome fish there Bob! An 11+ on tourney day is something very special indeed.

Dan and Rod, Congrats on Team of the Year! Wow that is a great accomplishment. Keep it going into 2015.
