geeze,I feel kind of low on the totem pole after reading what some of you folks do!!
I am just a mechanic,or as they call me nowadays,a technician, and I get into most everything given the chance as I enjoy learning something new, been at it for forty two years now if you count the job I had in high school.
I started out at a young age working on farm tractors and all of the implements that you could push, pull, power,or carry with them.

I was also given many gifts to be able to keep folks on the highways whether it be cars, pick ups, trucks or buses.
I also keep boats running and planes flying, the latter is my favorite as it demands me to be an absolute perfectionist and to be on top of the game at all times.
I currently work on construction equipment of all sorts and will do that until my friend retires from his aviation repair business and hope to take that over full time.

I wanted to be a free lance gynecologist and a jack daniels taste tester but figured if I got to mixing the two I would be in a heap of trouble real quick !!

I don’t talk about my job much on social media. Partly because of privacy reasons, but also because I don’t believe that your job inherently defines who you are. I started my career as an office assistant, expanding my duties over the years into areas of computer support and human resources, and now I am a Human Resources Generalist. I have a knack for the type of work I do and I enjoy the quirks of working in an office, even though I tend to escape to the woods nearby on breaks. Although my heart and soul will always belong in nature, my brain belongs in the office. I’m pretty sure I don’t seem like an HR rep when I’m sitting by a campfire, drinking beer or whiskey, cussin’ and telling awful jokes. I enjoy the balance of “professional” Sharon and “outdoorsman” Sharon.

Sharon you are just afraid to admit that you are like stupid Toby… maybe a few others will get the reference.

Worked my way from intern to senior sales rep in the car game recently took a big risk “in my mind” left after 12 years moved into sales on the technology side in the construction industry. So far have learned a lot but so far it seems to be work hard, be honest, and be nice to people. Oh and have fun while you’re doing it.

    Self employed trim carpenter.

When I got in trouble as a kid I my punishment was to go to work with my dad. My dad and uncles at work would tell me if you keep getting into trouble you will be stuck doing this stuff your whole life. They were right.
I look forward to work. Building people’s dreams is a lot of fun.

Retired, so I have more time for hunting, fishing and playing with grandchildren. I spent 30 years as a prosecutor, putting bad guys in prison; and before that I was a cop and firefighter for 8 years. Life is way better than good.

Spent my 20’s and early thirties in the military and Homeland Security and have been in operations for a commercial construction company for the last 10+. Always great meeting a wide range of people and seeing your kids doing better than we did growing up and having their own kids!
