My main job is to antagonize certain people and make sure the moderators stay alert on a couple of forum sites.

February 8, 2019 at 10:17 am #1833570I currently go to college at SJU…but really fish more than I study. I am working on a business degree and looking to run a family resort at some point. This summer I am “interning” at a resort on Winnie to hopefully learn the ropes a bit.
February 8, 2019 at 10:21 am #1833575I was trained as an electronics technician. Spent 25 years in the Aerospace Industry. Watch the movie “Office Space”; it’s all real. Bounced around for a couple of years and ended up working in a warehouse for a water softener company. Fix stuff, drive fork lifts, move snow, cleaning. Lots of walking and carrying heavy stuff and getting my hands dirty.
If I had to go back to working in a cube with mission statements and HR people and meetings and guys wearing suits…..I’d punch somebody within a week.

CharlesPosts: 1936February 8, 2019 at 10:51 am #1833597I don’t talk about my job much on social media. Partly because of privacy reasons, but also because I don’t believe that your job inherently defines who you are. I started my career as an office assistant, expanding my duties over the years into areas of computer support and human resources, and now I am a Human Resources Generalist. I have a knack for the type of work I do and I enjoy the quirks of working in an office, even though I tend to escape to the woods nearby on breaks. Although my heart and soul will always belong in nature, my brain belongs in the office. I’m pretty sure I don’t seem like an HR rep when I’m sitting by a campfire, drinking beer or whiskey, cussin’ and telling awful jokes. I enjoy the balance of “professional” Sharon and “outdoorsman” Sharon.
