Hi Guys hoping for some experts to pipe in.

I just powder painted a few jigs using Pro-Tec super glow red and super glow white.
Note real happy with the results. Both colors barely glow at all and the red if its lucky is a pink. Any suggestions on another brand that will do a better job?

Base coat in white and bake. Then reheat and apply your glow color And bake again

Randy’s right. The white base coat should be fully cured,so the secondary color does not bleed into base coat.

The same goes if you paint blade baits and such.

Randy is spot on with baking the base white.

Randy should the base coat be a non-glow white?

By following your steps will the increase the glow factor as wells the color?

I use a High reflective white as a base coat. No glow added. Like scott mentioned, once the white is baked, the color won’t bleed. The white will give you more true color for top coating and the glow properties will reflect from the white much better.

Here is the base white I use on most stuff. Love it, bright white and cheap at under $11/ pound

Pic is the baked white and some sprayed with a glow/yellow chart. Hit these with a flash and they glow for a long time.

I custom mix some of my powders and use this green glow to mix with some of my paints
