I am looking for some advice. I am going to make some beef jerky this weekend and am looking for your guys go to recipe. The issue I have though is my dad doesn’t care for Worcestershire sauce. So I am trying to find a good recipe without that in it. TIA

Substitute Johnnies Au Jus concentrated dipping sauce for Worcestershire. It’s better anyway!

Check out the recipe forum. We talk about jerky often and our favorite recipes and directions are all there. Easiest way is to put “jerky” in the Search Forums box to your left. It will pull up pages of the info you want including my recipe.

I almost always use Hi Mountain mixes and find it’s tough to make up my own that beats it. Sweet and Spicy or Teriyaki are my faves.

    It’s easy and fairly cheap.
They also have a ton of other seasonings/marinades/mixes.

Don’t know what kind of smoker you have but air flow is critical to making the jerky. Open everything wide open if you don’t have a fan.

X2. Original and pepper are my favorites. Save the marinades for making chicken.
