Earlier this summer I bought dozen of these mouse traps and had them set around the outside walls of the garage and around the composter. Between mice and shrews I have put over 100 in the garbage can. More recently Ma has been on my case about chipmunks in her pots and flower beds and I admit they’re bad. I’ve plinked a few but darn I can’t carry the gun all day and everywhere I am in the yard so I bought a couple of the JAWZ rat and chipmunk traps. As a rule I don’t fare well trapping chippers though.

On Saturday I set the two traps after wiring them to some long pins driven in the ground so they can’t drag the traps away. I baits the pans with peanut butter with a few black sunflower seeds pushed down in the PB. Setting is a snap, no pun intended, by pushing down on a tab until the trap sets with a click. I just took the third chipper out of the traps this morning. Push down on the tab and give a shake and the vermin drops out and the trap is set again for action. Super simple.

I hate to admit being impressed with mouse and chipper traps but these things work super and as mentioned so simple to use. Got 4 legged fuzzy vermin up to chipper size, these traps are the cat’s meow and the vermin’s nemesis. I’m impressed with them.

Tom, I’ve used the Jawz traps on mice on a few occasions and like you, I am a big fan of them.
