Even with the wind of Monday I couldn’t resist. I spent the day on South Center throwing spinner baits and fishing plastics with very good results. Usually the spinner bait is my go to this time of year:docks, weed edges and grass areas (frog migration) puts out good number. On Monday the tube we magic. I caught most of my fish in 5 to 7 feet of water. Find green weed and you’ll get fish. I ended the day with about 30 bass with the largest about 3 pounds. I expect with the winds diminishing this weekend it should be a bassen beatdown.
