It’s Official, We’re Moving North!!!

I still feel like I’m dreaming.

We sold our house without even hitting the market, and put an offer in that was accepted on our absolute dream home

It’s a custom home in the country with 20 acres. It has woods, a field, a pond, a GIANT 40×80 heated/finished shop, detached 2 car garage and a 20×30 pole barn. Unlimited privacy and is located off a dead end road just 30 minutes from Lake Superior!!

Hank and Ben took dibs on the 20×30, Mom claimed the 2-car, Dad gets the shop

We move in next month, and we’re all looking very forward to the next chapter of our lives.

Thanks for all of the encouragement and advice guys. We can’t wait to make it our new home.

The asking price was more than we wanted to spend, but with some haggling and giving the owner our best reasonable/feasible offer it became ours.

I definitely plan on planting a food plot, and need to come up with a snow removal plan. Right now I’m leaning on getting a used vee plow for my truck. I’d love a tractor or skiddy with a snowblower, but that’s a pretty big chunk of change to spend right away.
