Here is my 7 year old letting his hockey Flo blow the wind. He is very proud of it. I sometimes catch him looking at it in the mirror. doah

    Lol, nice!

Hey, whats the use of having good flo if you can’t admire it in the mirror?

When you feel good, like good, you dream of doing good. Happy Hockey!!!!

At the age of 59 and racked with arthritis there’s a long list of things I can’t do anymore. Life goes on, and that’s just the way it is. But #1 on that list…..

I miss playing Hockey so much it hurts.

Enjoy every minute of it kid, there’s nothing better than being a Hockey player.

That’s what I dread the most Steve. Being a 34 year old goalie that plays 4 nights a week I know my knees can only take so much.

Never played hockey, don’t really watch it either – that being said I had quite the McGyver flo back in the 80’s and hope that style comes back in before I lose more on top and look more like Gallagher )

Enjoy the hair while you can kiddo! I’m only 25 and am stuck to the buzz cut for the rest of my life due to balding.

7yr old boys grow out their hair, 7yr old girls cut it off. My lil one is gonna lop off about 7″ cause she hates long hair under helmet.

Funny you brought this up. As I was cleaning out an old draw I came across this picture from 1977. We just won the MPLS city championship.
Unfortunately I’m the one in the hat.

Years ago I gave my gear to the son of a life-long friend. When I gave the kid my pads, I looked him in the eye and in a serious tone of voice told him “If you stop half as many pucks with these pads as I did, you’ll stop about 4 pucks”.

The poor kid had no idea what to say or do jester

    LOL

I haven’t been on the ice in about 3 weeks and am going through withdrawals..
While three weeks doesn’t seem like much but I’m normally on the ice 3-5 times a week.

Good thing the new season, both playing and coaching, starts in a few weeks yay peace
