Pool 10 (and others i’m sure) get a pile of floating grass floating down stream making pitching/casting jigs and cranks nearly impossible. I saw several boaters stop and pull the grass off their lower units as did I twice !! Nasty stuff !!
I still like to pitch cranks but have to search out openings in the grass to get a clean retrieve..
I stuck it out and kept working,,, popping in and out of inside corners and outside corners finding the cleanest water I could find…
I ended up with 4 walleyes, 2 sheepies and a flathead. Made for a good day out !!
