It’s Esmeralda!

    Brian,
    Just following up on that tagged sturgeon 29984 caught by Todd Schumacher. It’s Esmeralda!

    You reported it as 46.25” long with a 15.25” girth caught on 11/5/16. The fish was released with the tag in the fish.

    This is the third angler report for this fish.

    We first caught and tagged it on 5/19/06, 35.5 miles upstream from where Todd caught it. At the time it was 38.62 inches long with a 13.11 inch girth and weighed 10.7 lbs. It was caught and reported by an angler on 10/3/07 in the same area you guys got it, reported as 40 inches long and 11 lbs.

    You reported it for Vicky Houg (who wanted to name the fish Esmeralda) on 10/10/14, again at the same location, reported as 45 inches long with a 15 inch girth.
