Mount that bear to the front deck and tape a corona to each of it’s paws!

If you want some help with the settings let me know, I need a tour of Roosevelt for walleyes, I fished it for smallmouth not for walleyes.

Sweet rig. I hope it came stock with some nice rod lockers and they are used so your custom rods don’t get stepped on. doah It’s a good thing you are unsure of how to use your electronics. That will leave a couple of fish left for the rest of us. Good luck. toast

With that open mouth, it almost looks like it could be a covert pull tab dispenser that just spits them out.

Geez EPG, I figured you would know how to use the cupholders at least! LMK when you need some lessons, I’ll even bring my own beer, no promises on fishing success but can guarantee a good time! rotflol

    Ok –
    So far I’m very impressed.
The 70 Suzie cranks it up to 5500 rpm’s and maxed out at 34.1 mph (wind assisted) 33.4 against the wind.
I just gave that info to the guys at the Marine and they’re ordering me up a SS prop. (need to bling it up a bit)
The solex 15 – well, let’s just say that it is “sick!” The solex 10 up front hasn’t been turned on yet.
The Terrova I cannot comment on because I still haven’t figured out how to turn it on. doah
    I need a Drotto.
    Plug is in. moon
Mahtofire – If you let that secret out I’ll never talk to you again.

Oh – I moored it and when I stepped onto the dock there was a school of crappies sitting next to a deadfall and when I looked closer there was a 36″ or so muskie eye ballin them. Bout 12″ of water.

    Is this an Escape?

What does this mean for the pontoon? Only for cruises with the belle?

Do the new outboards not have a break in procedure anymore?

YES they do have a break in procedure and it is highly recommended to follow it as closely as possible. Usually it’s 2-3 hours of progressive steps. Should be in the manual and salesperson should go over it with you as well.

These newer outboards have computers that track exact information so they can see how hard you ran it and for how long, and manufacturers can and do DENY warranty work if the break in procedure was not followed.

Not saying all dealers/shops will do this but it’s a possibility. Best to just follow the procedure for many reasons, IMHO.
