This is an unreal good deterrent to nuisance squirrels….

Immature bald eagle. Must be a three year old or so to be three year old as there’s some white starting on the head.

I’m sure what brought big bird to our oak is the possum I shot the other night and couldn’t find the sucker after he ditched out of the garage. I see it being picked apart at the base of the tree the eagle is in.

That should do the trick. I’ve been starting to hear and see our barred owls the past week or so. They’re welcome to all the squirrels, mice, and bunnies they care to eat from our yard!

Our owls are back as well. My daughter sent me this pic of one sitting in the tree near the bird feeders before school couple weeks ago. Problem is, they go to bed before the squirrels come out..

But, my boy has is pellet gun sighted in and has been putting a dent in the squirrel population!

    Awesome, IceNEyes!

Got a pic of this one on a neighbor’s house last summer.

Yes, he can shoot pretty good. But, he needs to work on his stealth ability a little bit. smirk Squirrels are gettin smart though. Seems like they know when the school bus gets home cause there aren’t many squirrels out after that.

If he can do a red squirrel, he’s pretty darned good. Those little schnits are tough to get to stay still for more than a nano-second and sneaking up on one is more impossible than possible.

Straight-shooting Mr. Ever notice a red will run across a road like grease lightning, now a grey will dodge this and that way to get across a road. reds got brains, they are bigger trouble. Things a ex Hwy man has noticed. DK.

I have one of those Gamo ones with the 10 round magazines, it’s crazy powerful, I don’t think I’d have a problem killing a racoon with that thing with as headshot. Comes with a sweet scope as well.

I slowed down a little on my squirrel thinning. Now my cousin says he is going to need his pellet gun back soon. I better get back on my thinning. I think I was at 10 or so before I let up. For awhile it seemed like for every one I shot there would be 2 more new ones show up.

I don’t know about the rest of you but sure glad I’ve been picking off these rodents lately with the impending virus making it’s rounds.

Don’t need those garbage diggers on my trash and recycling bins, digging in my yard the kids play in, or walking along fences we grab onto. Maybe it helps maybe it dont, sure helps pass the time.
