Looking for a lighter hang-on tree stand and climbing sticks. Inventory is low around town. PM if you’re in the market to sell.
    Thank you,

Have you looked at Saddle’s? Lot of guys are going that route and it’s about as light as you can get.

I was looking at those and debating on trying one, but man do they seem like there would be no comfort for hours at a time

I gave a Trophyline Treesaddle a fair shot, just not comfortable enough for me. A couple hours is fine but I don’t hunt for just a couple hours. Not a chance I could hunt dark to dark in one.

I have an API Brand Baby Grand hangon stand I just took down a couple weeks ago. I also have climbing sticks for it. The stand is probably 15 years old. It had been in the same tree for about 10 years. It is still in decent shape. My hang on tree stand days are behind me now. I would probably be willing to sell them. It is up at my cabin but could grab it next weekend if you interested in checking it out. Would probably sell both for 100.00. Maybe a bit less. I live in Hudson.

I’m still unsure of the saddles being a big guy and not really wanting to learn all the rigging. I’m sure it would be great and they seem fairly comfortable. I don’t sit much on stand anyway. They are pretty spendy too.

I’d guess you are looking for something now versus after shipping but check out Camofire.com today. Prices are usually cheaper than anywhere else I’ve looked. They have Hawk aluminum sticks and a bunch of stands to choose from, ships out of Utah but can show up however fast you want with shipping. I’ve bought a bunch of stuff from them over the past few years and it’s always been great. Not trying to push/sell anything just thought I’d let you know.
