Is There Traffic Enforcement In The Twin Cities?

Man, I’d love to see some body cam footage of one of you guys getting pulled over. Tell me, is it painful? Like, while your licking the police officer’s boots, do you need to lay on your back? Or do you just scrape your raging police boner on the pavement while you lick them clean?

James / Admin’s – Thanks for letting a few of these continue ( As long as no one gets out of hand ) These types of issues really need to be discussed. I know you would rather they we done so on a different web site. But personally this is about the only online forum that I use or follow. I try and offer mostly outdoor related post and reply’s, but these days there is so many other things going on in this Crazy world that its hard not to discuss other real life issues.

Seen this one and thought it pretty much sums up the Lefts way of thinking…

1. Cop gets shot in the head and killed while doing a erratic driver stop, by a totally high, out of mind, drugged up freak, who has 3 warrants. Left response…”the cop knew the risks of the job when he signed up”

2. Cop shoots a totally high, out of mind, drugged up freak, who has 3 warrants, who was reaching for something in his glove box, which the cop is yelling for him to not do that, while doing a erratic driver stop. Druggie dies. Lefts response…”dam cops shooting innocent people”… we all know druggies driving erratic hurt no one.

Define innocent? Floyd wasn’t guilty of any crime that’s punishable by death in this state. And furthermore, we have an entire system based on the philosophy of “innocent until proven guilty.” So at the time of his murder (not my words but the words of the judge), he was indeed INNOCENT. If chauvin hadn’t chose to take justice into his own hands (or knee) then perhaps Floyd would have been properly arrested, detained, charged, and proven guilty. That is the way the system is supposed to work.

I don’t always like my job but I show up every day and fulfill my obligation. Better than MPD can say right now.

Hard to say the entire police force is bad because a cop did something wrong. That’s kind of a messed up point of view.
I assume this last guy who was firing at the marshals was innocent and didn’t deserve death.

Covered nicely above by dirty water. You all want to live in a police state and others are saying cops shouldn’t get to play judge, jury, and executioner.

You seem to place very little value on human life, SAD! someone on drugs doesn’t deserve to die. Someone reaching for their license in a glove box doesn’t deserve to die. Someone allegedly using fake currency doesn’t deserve to die.

Should they be arrested? Maybe, but their life shouldn’t end for any of those reasons.

How many of you lit off illegal fireworks last week? Fireworks are dangerous and kill people every year, how would you react if a cop drove by and gunned down your child? I’m sure you’d thank the police officer for making the world a better place, after all, your kids were doing something illegal. And if it’s one thing I know, conservative logic says

‘any previous record of wrongdoing means that life has no value and it’s totally cool for them to just be erased by a trigger happy police officer’.

After all, why didn’t they just follow the law?

A few bad apples right! Let me finish that saying for you, A FEW BAD APPLES RUINS THE BUNCH.

No one is suggesting all cops are bad. I’m friends with some good ones. But Some are beyond bad, some are criminals and murderers and should be held accountable. That’s it. However, when that doesn’t happen, it ruins the whole bunch as the saying goes.

Police force is bad because instead of rooting out the bad apples, or racists, or criminals, they protect them without question under any circumstance.

And then when they are finally held accountable they have the same response as a 5 year old, they take their ball and go home.

Justin, this may save your life someday so I offer you this, pass this onto your children also… if you get pulled over…. and you keep your license or registration in the glovebox… if you decide to just reach for your stuff and the cop says, “don’t reach for anything”… DON’T REACH FOR ANYTHING… if you value your life… because he does his and the fact he is asking you to not reach for anything, shows he values yours also. So many senseless deaths because people cannot follow simple protocol on a traffic stop. Just think if George would have just sat in the squad…. hard thing to do.

Yes exactly, follow the law and you’ll have no problems. George floyd didn’t care about his life, why should I? Someone on drugs, resisting arrest though may not deserve to die, are surely asking for it. Does a coop deserve to die because over some drugged up low life? The police know what kind of evil is out there, they see it every day.

I got pulled over in Lakevile the other day. Rolled down my window and put both hands on the steering wheel and waited for the officer to give me directions of which I followed.
Crazy thing happened, he didn’t shoot me.
Ended up not even getting a ticket, or a boner.

I’d argue the response on all sides is misguided and an over correction to the current situation. Politicians want to defund and dismantle the police….some of the police and the police unions response has defied logic. The right and left can’t have a moderate opinion. The media has obvious bias….and so on. Some modicum of common sense and civility might help everyone….regardless of what side you fall on these issues.

So instead of coming on here and ranting that all cops are terrible murderers maybe take a deep breath and make a logical argument.

I’m not naive enough to believe minorities aren’t treated differently by cops but you shouldn’t be so naive as to think the cops are out there looking for a reason to kill people. There are bad actors on both sides.

Honestly any killing is senseless. I personally dont understand the point of using a woman beating, counterfeiting, drugged up, con artist as your face of a movement to better race relations. I would stand with anything Dr. Martin Luther King, Abraham Lincoln and all those that sacrificed life for the abolishment of slavery and race equality advancement but this is on a level that just doesn’t make sense to me. And you can add woke and critical race theory right along with the first part of my statement. It’s really an upside down time.
