It was first reported in the form of sick people in China. For all we know it could have “started” in a lab in Russia, Canada, maybe even the US…. hell maybe it’s been around for years and it just now started infecting people.
At this point, on the subject of covid, what anyone calls Knowledge has nothing to do with facts. It’s just a collection of beliefs from a myriad of sources with ALL of the sources having dubious credibility depending on who you ask….

Yeah it’s really hard to believe all the evidence. Mind boggling in fact. That’s not considering the fact Canadian developed viruses have also been detected in china that they in fact sent to Wuhan.

once covid hit ALL tests were covid only. They didn’t detect seasonal flu. Having said that viruses battle each other in nature like anything else. Whichever one is stronger they defeat the other. So covid defeated the flu. Simple as that. It’s well documented. Have you seen what’s happening with RSV right now? It disappeared for a year and now it’s ridiculous! That’s scary for the very young. We’ve had kids who had it and I will tell you it was the worst experience. The main thing to realize is that viruses do what viruses do.

That’s possible but very unlikely. China simply needs to be transparent and cooperate, which they have not done. Most of the evidence does point to Wuhan and they should provide every piece of data that is available. They are not. They have manipulated the data and only permitted information that is “approved” by the Chinese government. If we ever want to get to the bottom of this, we need to know how and where it started. It will greatly aid in preventing another one.

It started by sending all our manufacturing jobs over there. They now have this country right by the balls and are starting to squeeze. With nobody to keep China in check it will only get worse.

That is for the entire population, which a large portion (12 and under) aren’t even eligible to receive the vaccine, so using that is literally the definition of scare tactics. 71.3% of everyone eligible (over age 12) has received one dose, 73.4% of everyone over 18 (like I stated), and 91.6% of the most at risk population over 65 years old have received at least 1 dose. Those same metrics go 60.5%, 62.7% and 81.3% for receiving both doses.

It ends when your creditors realize your assets don’t cover your debt. I graduated 1975. Then it was huge that our national debt may reach 1 trillion over 200 years of running our country. This was after paying for Vietnam. By 97, it was 5 trillion. And has grown gradually till Covid. Current proposal is 3 trillion for the next one. Now the graph looks like a NASA launch past 23T. Have people tell me they didn’t need the stimulus money they received. I tell them to invest it for their Grand kids. They are going to need it.

They selected the individuals who could do it. They only shared data that they chose to. They need to open up their entire system of information related to this to the rest of the world so it can be analyzed and answers can be found.
Its not just the United States that wants answers, although we do have the most illness from it. Leaders from Europe, Australia, Brazil, and Canada have all called for China to cooperate and they still aren’t doing it. The only country that isn’t calling for it is…Russia. Hmmmm

I don’t use the light rail at this time, but when I was in the office regularly and traveling for work regularly, I used it. It was very convenient and inexpensive. There is a station a block from my office in Mpls that takes me directly to each airport terminal in about 35 minutes. No taxis, parking, or rush hour traffic to deal with at the cost of like 3 bucks.
Extending it to the southwest metro is dumb. There is nothing out there of importance. No stadium, no airports, no mega malls, no capital.

While I agree with you, that is just never going to happen with a Communist country. They control everything within their borders, and increasingly outside of their borders due to their growing economic power. And honestly unless us and all of our allies are prepared to go to war with China, it’s kind of irrelevant. FWIW I agree with Jon Stewart on the Lab Leak:

I think all of you know, if we had a President with balls, China would pay. Those of you who know who could do it… that ship pushed off, but hasn’t sailed yet
