I’m assuming a fire?
If so if they had replacement on the building and the inventory was covered and they had loss of business you may have seen the last of them. Take the check, sell the property and retire.
With all you guys shopping on-line what would be the point of rebuilding to sell a couple of minnows and a license or two.
They have a sign out front that says they will open again in the fall.
But from the looks of it from the road, it won’t be open for a year.
The building has been removed but that is it.
The only thing I’ve heard is that they are rebuilding. I sure hope so! Over the last 30 years, I’ve purchased a good share of my tackle there. It always amazed me how often there prices matched or beat the big box stores. Especially on rods and reels.
A buddy of mine who lives in Annandale says that YES it is going to reopen. They did run into a few issues with Permits and such but that’s all cleared up now. My buddy said he had heard that the plans are for it to be almost double the size of the original store. I’m glad to hear that they are going to rebuild and open back up. Far to many of these small Bait stores closing.
Back in the early 2000’s I Bass fished Clearwater and Muskie fished Sugar. Jims was always a fun stop, spent more than a few dollars there. Maybe new owners since I was stopping in? Anyway I wish whoever builds the best of luck in the future.

I’m guessing the far opening is the main entry with the canopy posts out front. That overhead door opening is interesting though! I’m thinking drivethru bait and tackle!
