Is it even going to be worth it this week?

Thinking I will give pool 2 a shot from shore this weekend as long as I have time.

Needed waders on pool 7 to launch the boat last night. up to mid-thigh at the docks. Fishing was pretty slow….hooked into what I thought was a pig walleye, until I got it to the boat and it was a 15lb carp. doah

Anybody been on Pool 4 in the last day or two? How bad are the conditions with the high water?

Since nobody responded to my post I took a drive down to Everts to check it out. The only ramp open is the one downstream from their floating dock. Talked to two groups coming off, neither of them caught a fish. Lots of junk in the water.

Sorry Joe, I wasn’t online…I was on the water.

I didn’t talk to a lot of people, but there were two that had fish that I laid my eyes on. The two guys that did the best had 8 keepers.

I didn’t talk to anyone that fished at the Y.
The folks I spoke with were fishing in smaller groups around the Red Wing area.

Bay Port was a breeze to launch at today after the city cleaned out the dock area. You’re feet will get wet at the back channel ramp although there were at least 6 rigs parked there around noon today.
