according to a news article i found online they will keep grays bay boat launch accessible throughout this construction project but in driving around that area for work it looks pretty closed off to me. Can anyone confirm that its possible to launch a boat using the grays bay launch right now?
Drove over there this last Saturday. It is open and you can get to it from 101 coming from the south. Construction signs still say road closed, but it’s not blocked off until the bridge. Can also access it coming by way of Libbs Lake roads. Hope it stays open all season.
Thanks jim! I ended up launching out of maxwell bay yesterday afternoon in the hail storm. I can safely say I was the only boat on the entirety of lake minnetonka

That is awesome! A true die hard to go out in the hail! Hope you got into some.
I spent about an hour cruising around. Some of the spots I wanted to get to were inaccessible due to low water levels. The water temp was 40.5 degrees. Didn’t last long out there as hail to the face at 25 mph smarts a bit but a day on the water is better than the alternative
