Interference between LX 7’s

Hello, I run two LX 7’s when I have someone along with me. I have had mixed results with clearing up interference when fishing close by or in the shack and can never quite get it cleared up. I have tried IR, 8 degree cone on both or 8 on one and 20 on other and sensitivity as low as can go while still seeing the lure. Any tips that someone might know would be appreciated. Thanks, Nate

Did you try using a different ping rate on each one?

As mentioned above too, I would also make sure they are running the latest firmware.

I don’t think it can be avoided. Running at different frequencies just results in one being right and one not.

Thanks for the the responses. What do you mean by ping rate? I just bought last year and Marcum didn’t mention updating software when I called recently. They only mentioned what I had already tried. I fish next to my buddy with his Lowrance. And neither unit shows any interference. Thanks again. Nate

If you bought your unit last year it should have the latest update on it-5.10. To check hit menu then system settings it should say (settings 5.10)
To set the ping rate press
Menu >Sonar settings>Max ping rate then choose 1 thru 4.
    Hope this helps.

Have both on 8 degree, only adjust one unit’s ir, hold transducers up higher minimum target adjust and sensitivity.

Thanks for the help! I will try these things next time I am out.
